Watford welcome West Ham on Saturday with both sides looking for their first wins of the new season.
Watford have endured a rather miserable start to the season, succumbing to a 3-0 home loss against Brighton and then a 1-0 away loss to Everton.
The Hornets are currently rooted to the bottom of the table, having scored no goals and conceding four.

Meanwhile, West Ham have enjoyed a marginally better start. The Hammers were smashed 5-0 at home against Man City in the first game of the season but then recovered at Brighton and came away with a respectable point in a 1-1 draw.
The Irons currently sit 16th in the table and will be looking to secure a first away win of the season.

What happened last time?
Watford last welcomed West Ham to Vicarage Road on the 12th May 2019. It was a match to forget for the Hornets – with Mark Noble getting a brace and Jose Holebas getting sent off in a 4-1 victory for West Ham.

However, the probable reasoning behind Watford’s heavy defeat is minds were more focused on the looming FA Cup Final rather than on the Premier League. The Hammers were also clinical on the day and deserved to take home all 3 points.
Probable line ups and team news:
Watford:
Troy Deeney is to be sidelined for a few weeks after undergoing minor surgery on his knee.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Roberto Pereyra are both struggling with fitness too and are doubts for the match.
Summer signings Danny Welbeck and Ismalia Sarr are both still not fully match fit but will both most likely feature on Saturday as substitutes in the later stages of the game.
Possible starting line up:

West Ham:
Winston Reid has been the only player definitely ruled out by Pellegrini for the match.
Sebastien Haller, Felipe Anderson and Mark Noble all look set to be in contention for the starting lineup against Watford.
Possible starting lineup:

My prediction:
As aforementioned, both sides will be battling for their first win to kickstart their season’s and I think it will be a close game.
I am going to say the final score will be: 2-1 Watford.
